Colors and Forms: My Latest Finds From Christine’s Books and Baubles

Two collections later, I could say that Christine’s Books and Baubles is doing well. More people are discovering the beauty of Ms. Christine’s handmade creations. They’re unique, affordable and most importantly, made with passion by the lady that inspired them all. Christine’s Books and Baubles expanded clientele might be good for online business but it means more competition for handmade jewelry lovers like yours truly. I’ve gotten better at being the first to comment on her page once I’m alerted that a new collection is launched.

So why am I all hyped up about her designs? Why should a newbie at handmade jewelry be lurking around in her Facebook page for a start?

I already mentioned unique-so if you’re looking for something that is  new and would want to walk around with jewelry that has no replica, you know where to go. That’s when you will encounter people appreciating and commenting on the outstanding color combinations, if not whimsical characters of your jewelry. At this point you can do an advertising plug and say “I got them from Christine’s Books and Baubles”.

Here’s where you recall how affordable they are. If Ms. Christine knew just how pretty her jewelry are, I swear they’d cost more, but she’s sweet and humble like that. Well you can also mention the fact that they’re handmade, it only adds a certain charm to them. Personally, looking at the pieces that she’s conjured makes me wonder what emotions, thoughts and ideas she’s had at the time when she sits in her crafting corner and brings birth to these beautiful pieces.

In each collection, I’ve fought really hard to control myself from hoarding. But I’m not going to suffer alone. I’m sharing the beauty with you. =)

The Santorini Collection: Turquoise and pale pink stone bead matinee necklace with a sea glass wire-wrapped pendant, matching bracelet

This is my latest acquisition, (listen to me, as if I'm talking about diamonds) that's how special her creations are, at least for me. Just looking at these lovely colors immediately brings me to blue skies and sparkling waters.

I'm a ridiculously happy girl.

Review: The C's of Cutey

I love silver and charms. So what’s better than receiving my silver charm bracelet? It’s finally receiving my prizes from a contest I won: bracelets from Cutey! You can read about my winning the giveaway here and my winning entry here
I received a notice from the Post Office that a package was waiting for me to pick it up, together with the other packages I was expecting. The courier used was Royal mail and I like the stamp which has the Queen's impression on it.

I received Momus, Hypnos and Hemera- which is my favorite. My thoughts? Continue reading below.

Chain

One interesting feature of Cutey bracelets is the chain that's used. I'm used to chains when it comes to bracelets, and most of the charms and links are chunky, making it heavy. But the chains used for Cutey's bracelets are slim and lightweight. This made me instantly fond of its sleek design. This also gives a good fit once worn on the wrist, and I can say that one size fits all. I am petite and have small wrists and its chain is a-ok when I put it on.

Charms and Beads

Another feature which caught my attention is its assorted charms and beads. The Cutey signature bead-as I like to call it, makes the bracelet more distinguishable from other accessories. I think this is what makes it the genuine article.

The silver charms are appropriately sized and there are different charms for each bracelet. This makes each bracelet unique from the other. The same also goes for the beads which are high quality glass beads that are colorful and have a silver inner-lining in the center for easier assembly.

Clasp

A good clasp has to be secure and that's what Cutey has made sure for its unique bracelets. Even when worn for hours, there's no worry about the lock loosening or the charms or beads slipping. The clasp used is more secure than any lobster clasp I've tried on any bracelet, not to mention, it is also very durable.

The shipping took three weeks and the wait honestly made me anxious because I was already very excited to receive them. Cutey has a new collection of bracelets out, Shamballa, and you can choose your bracelets and enjoy their beautiful jewelry.

Am I satisfied with Cutey's products?

I have to say yes.

And I might check out the new collection too.

Who Deserves Cutey Bracelets

I want to win Cutey's bracelets because...

... This month, there is so much for me to look forward to.

Let's say I get to win 4 bracelets from Cutey, thanks to Babyvox's generosity, it is a perfect way to show the girls in my life that they are remembered. I could gift one to my Sis who's coming home on June and who is also celebrating her birthday on June 24. She is a law student and having a very feminine bracelet with her corporate clothes will look just as beautiful.

I could save one more bracelet as a gift to the Chief of Staff of my boss's office to show her that I greatly appreciate her kindness and her assistance all throughout my being part of where I am working right now.

One more could be for my high school friend who's been supportive of me, even after nine years of friendship, who has not dared tell the whole world of my crazy antics and big dreams yet, she deserves one for her birthday this November.

And lastly, I could always save the last bracelet for gift-giving this Christmas, even if it means not having to save one for myself.

I think that females who have touched people in their own special ways deserve charming bracelets from Cutey.

It's all about sharing kindness, and what way to share but through beautiful bracelets from Cutey, right?
