My Staceys From Pinkytoes

Before I started this post, I was kind of unsure if people actually read shoe reviews. I mean, who reviews shoes and reads about them, right? But I think a short review would be helpful, as well as an honest one.

Pinkytoes is based in Manila, and even though I sent an order form last month, I had to be very patient because I understood that it was the busiest season of the year. And my patience did pay off. There are many different styles to choose from, and for those neon lovers out there, you can check out the selections and bring home some sweet babies, they now have pretty heels!

My Stacey Beige from Pinkytoes arrived last Monday via local courier and I just could not wait to slip it on. Even though the box did not withstand the handling and arrived crushed already inside the shipping company's parcel, I was at least happy with the pair.

Only after the first use, the heel with the brand name already became faded, even if I did not have much activity going on.

One thing about my pair though is that I got the smallest size, which is 5 of about 23 cm, it seems to be a little too loose for my feet. It is the smallest size listed but it seemed to be too generous, and this also shows on the straps, I had to have more holes punched in the straps just so I could secure it around my ankles well.

Thank you card in the shoebox with guidelines at the back

Note: Refrain from using your shoes during rainy season!

My toes do not even reach Stacey's tips! Hehe

But I like the fact that the color is very versatile which could be matched with practically anything at all, and that the transaction with the shop was smooth. Add to that, it seems to be the right summer sandals to have in one's shoe collection because it is reasonably priced and is very lightweight. Walking around in it the whole day did not cause any problems for my dwarfish feet! Also, the design is very pleasing and applicable to any casual ensemble.

I already wore it to work once and it matched my leather bag very well. You can see what I matched it with here. Soon I might go back for the other heels I spotted!

Pairings with the Blazer

Photo taken by Adah Belle

I have this blazer I got from my suki shop. I don't know what to wear with it on a formal event for my firm on 19.

I wore it to our Christmas party last month as seen on photo (pardon the blurry photo, it's the only shot I have of the outfit-perhaps I have to fix my camera settings). It was such a formal getup but it did well protecting me from too much cold from the venue.

Now here I am thinking and brainstorming on what to match it with. Maybe I will be scouting for an appropriate skirt later on in town and a good matching top.

Starry Denim on Aztec

Finally! I have time to rest, blog and catch up!

I was so excited and happy that I finally met up with my long time friends from high school last weekend, even if there were three who were absent, I cheerfully brought my delayed and wrapped Christmas presents to share with them. Even I can't believe that it's been over a decade of friendship! I am just uber happy that we got to bond again.

In the meantime, my packages from Adah Belle arrived, and I got to assemble a summer ready outfit! Perhaps it is a sign of excitement for the summer days to arrive? I just liked how it came together though. Do show me some love at the bottom of this post! Have a fab day followers! =D

And whole body shot in the basement, lol. Just shows how comfy I am walking around barefooted...

I like the details on this top and maybe there will be more posts of this soon...

OMG Accessories!

What a way to start the year! Check out my pile!

I was feeling a little apprehensive this morning, and there I was feeling quite uncertain, and there were mixed emotions on my part with personal problems and a mix of dilemma too. But I was able to overcome it with some honest talk. I am quite glad at how things turned out for me.

I have been curious lately at the new stocks for accessories and I visited a shop near the jeepney stop in town. I found some pieces I liked and what is great is that the whole pile cost only Php 270 (approximately $6.7)! If I were to shop online it would cost me Php1,000 or ($30). I could live with the savings as well.

I went there to look for some goodies to share with my girlfriends. We have not yet come together for our annual year end gathering, but this weekend we are definitely going to make it. I shall be preparing a mini chocolate fountain for the gang. In the meantime, allow me to show off my pile!

The bright colors would go well with the new purple soft satchel which I was gifted for Christmas, the pearl bracelet was a gift from one of my students.

And I did not expect to find spike earrings so I grabbed them immediately!

This is a dust stopper! New phone for the year, anyone? Hehehe just teasing...

And I have the chance of trying out filigree earrings in black!

Yes I am feeling a lot of love this year too.

The glittery hat matches the nails and the top! I changed into something with polka dots on New Year's Eve too.

Have a Happy New Year to all!

Lounging in Peach

Thankfully, I have spare time this holiday season. It's all been rushing and working but at least I have some down time to spend with my family. So now I have the chance to lounge around in the second floor library barefooted and in a very sheer and lightweight dress of all things!

About the dress, I won this from a giveaway sponsored by Bejeweled Jhazz which is a wholesale dress shop from Las Pinas. The shop owner is very friendly. She keeps up with the latest trends in dresses, tops, bottoms and even shoes and this could be seen with her selection of clothes. You can check her photos in the shop too! There are many styles that are suitable for casual and formal gatherings. A visit to her shop would show that she is very organized with how she posts and categorizes her items, an order form could be found in the caption of each item.

The dress I picked out from her collection is a sheer, dainty chiffon sleeveless dress. It is so light and feminine that it could be worn for summer days like barbecues and gatherings in the garden. I think the photos show how much I enjoyed this dress and I did not even mind that I was barefooted!

I think I will be wearing polka dots for the New Year. What do you readers think?
