Kaohsiung Day 4 Golden Buddha Museum

On our last day in Kaohsiung, we visited the Golden Buddha Museum and Lotus Lake. This has got to be the highlight of this trip.

Until next time, thank you Kaohsiung!

Mood Swings

These mood swings are weird.

Mondays I hate.

Tuesdays are overwhelming.

Wednesdays I can bear depending on what's going on.

Thursdays can be productive.

Fridays, I love.

And then the cycle goes on...

But somehow, music helps. I am playing FKJ (French Kiwi Juice) on repeat on Spotify. And to think that I almost cancelled this subscription, and rediscovered the mood boost that comes with lo-fi music.

I've been hearing stuff all over the place. But at the end of the day, I know better than to go against the flow of events. Things are meant to happen, it is all pre-destined. We are meant to be where we are. Because unless we learn the important lessons in life, nothing is going to improve. The universe has a way of surprising us, and it all depends if we let feedback affect us or ruin our day. And the timing is always perfect.

So, let's just let people be themselves. I'm perfectly happy and content with where I am, and I know that good karma will definitely find me in the future.

Breathe

Here's where I say that the weekend wasn't enough for me.

Saturday, I went to school for my face-to-face consultation with my paper's advisor. We went through my paper thoroughly, looking at what can be further improved.

I'm pretty pleased with how things are going. Just this morning, I submitted my Topic Approval form. Next, I will be working on my concept paper. I'm taking things slowly and reminding myself that I will get there. As long as I focus on the little things and time everything nicely, results will speak for themselves.

I stocked up on ink for my printer for those printing jobs at home. Thankfully Carl gave me money for whatever I needed.

Keeping my hopes up.

Sunday, while Carl went on his rides. I stayed home with the Little Bebe Girl and tidied up around the house. I did my laundry, vacuumed, mopped and gave the Little Bebe a bath. She now smells of lavender shampoo and I topped it off with Frontline spray.

In the afternoon before Carl headed home, I prepped the motions for my siomai recipe. It lacked shrimp but it fulfilled my cravings. I'm sure my brother was salivating when he saw my photo. The zest from the calamansi against the pork and shrimp filling wrapped in delicate, steamed wrapper just hit the spot. I'll be good until the next craving.

And here I am in a very busy week. I'll be able to get through all of it. For now, I have to remind myself to breathe.

I've got this.
