We went to the Fort
Pilar Shrine to simply light candles and express our gratitude to our patroness
saint of the city, Nuestra Senora La Virgen del Pilar. This was the situation
on the eve of Fiesta Pilar celebrations, and a walk to Paseo del Mar. Of course,
we had a little late-night snack. Happy fiesta Zamboanga!

We checked out the night market at the ZC Integrated Bus Terminal, the place is alive at
night! There’s Zumba, and just a wide space to exercise in. Once you’re hungry
there are a handful of stalls to buy from. You can also buy clothes, plants and
other wares for sale. Come over if you want to support our local businesses!
