Neutral with Blue

I was supposed to share my thoughts about the shoes I wore in this outfit post but he talked me out of it. So maybe tomorrow then, eh? I really can't avoid wearing cardis to work because I have the sniffles this week and it is just giving me a bad case, plus headache if it is too hot outside. So my best friends as of the moment are Nasathera, Gatorade and lots of vitamin C.

In the meantime, I have been going home earlier than usual this week just to have enough rest. I have got a couple of major projects coming up which are due next week and I still have found the time to blog! Lol.

Starry Denim on Aztec

Finally! I have time to rest, blog and catch up!

I was so excited and happy that I finally met up with my long time friends from high school last weekend, even if there were three who were absent, I cheerfully brought my delayed and wrapped Christmas presents to share with them. Even I can't believe that it's been over a decade of friendship! I am just uber happy that we got to bond again.

In the meantime, my packages from Adah Belle arrived, and I got to assemble a summer ready outfit! Perhaps it is a sign of excitement for the summer days to arrive? I just liked how it came together though. Do show me some love at the bottom of this post! Have a fab day followers! =D

And whole body shot in the basement, lol. Just shows how comfy I am walking around barefooted...

I like the details on this top and maybe there will be more posts of this soon...

Subtle Femme: Rose and Gray

I call this ensemble Subtle Femme.

I have always been fascinated about dainty details, and this includes laces, pearls, even studs. It's been raining frequently here in our place, and I have decided to put on something practical but still femme.

The top has a peter pan collar style, but it is loaded with pearls, dainty lace appliques and even little diamond studs. It has a sheer fabric and has an old rose color. I guess my outfit inspiration for this is my grandmother who is so fond of pearls and knitted details. I call it my Portia Top after my granny, every time I put it on and wear it I am reminded of my lola and the way she used to walk out that door with giant sunglasses and her favorite hand painted clutch.

I wore it under a gray knitted cardi yesterday which was one of my purchases from Tzu Chi Bazaar last Sunday. To at least add some consistency to the look, I wore my gray flats paired with the jeans.

Polka + Charm + Books to Read This Weekend

There are times when I feel a little kikay and want to dress up a little. But there are times when I feel so lazy that I just want to jump into shorts and a comfy old shirt and stay in bed and ignore all my responsibilities. So, yesterday was one of those kikay days.

I'm just sharing an outfit post because I am absolutely in love with my top and charm necklace. It's just one of those rare moments when someone actually took a photo of what I'm wearing. Hahaha. Talk about lucky. Lol.

John Lennon at the back, yup that's him!

I won't be anywhere without my glasses. And what to do with them? Rejoice because I found some treasures in someone else's bookshelf! Hahaha.

I never get tired of acquiring new books! I'm waiting for my new ones to arrive.

This came in a box with some other children's books.

Could it be? Yes it is!

J handed this to me. First page and I couldn't stop. Just because it's old does not mean it's ugly.
It's not my copy but I'm glad to have started reading. I should be reading this while on holiday so no one will be interrupting me.

I'm a few pages away from finishing this one. It's the first time I read a Jerry Spinelli book and I must say, it's really colorful and an urban legend on its own. Upcoming book review maybe?

Have a great weekend everyone!
