2014 White Homecoming Dresses By DressV

Are you getting ready for homecoming?

I think the best colour to wear to homecoming is white.

There is something timeless and unrivalled with the pure and pristine colour of white. There is a difference between wearing white from wearing beige or ecru or champagne; white comes out as crisp and just plain classy. It must be why on most debuts in Europe, the debutantes line up in white dresses and flowers in their hair, making these formal occasions one of the glamorous and memorable events of the season.

Why else would white be the appropriate colour of wedding dresses to bring out the glow of brides on their special day? It only proves that white is a timeless colour and is great for either short or long dresses.

As for this year’s homecoming, a 2014 white homecoming dress can be a good match with any modern or vintage style tuxedo. Whether you are an alumni or current student of your school, you can’t go wrong with a 2014 white homecoming dress from DressV of the right style and cut to accentuate your figure and highlight your assets.

Matching 2014 white homecoming dresses is easier than you think. You can always wear pearl earrings that can make your skin glow, or even diamond style earrings for a luxurious and dramatic look. If you are one who fancies flowers, you can wear them on your wrist.

As for your hairstyle, you can sweep up your hair and clip tiny flowers or also beautiful tiny crystals that sit on your hair, you can go for an elegant style or a simple one. If you are comfortable with adding a dainty bow to your dress, then you can add contrasting colours but be sure to keep your overall look consistent.

White homecoming dresses can be paired with shoes that are of appropriate height, choose ones that you are comfortable walking in.

For Those Graduation Ceremonies, Why Not Choose Your Short Cocktail Dresses 2014 From DressV?

The month of March is popularly marked with graduation ceremonies here and there. (Look at all those alliterations.) But it all means the same thing to everybody, it's a time for celebration! I bet the most cheerful people towards the end of the month are none other that the graduates themselves who have toiled very hard to be where they are now.During my school days, it meant a lot of requirements, studying for exams and getting things together just to be able to see those marks appear on the academic roster. (I was maintaining grades to be able to keep my scholarship and boy was it quite a challenge of my own wits! Anything below 85 meant I received a warning.)

But now that you've done it, it's time to celebrate and attend what you normally call the Graduation Ball. The ball is usually a time of fellowship and you wouldn't want to look at your yearbook photos five or ten years from now wondering "what was I thinking when I wore that?" right?

Luckily, DressV has got you covered with beautiful short cocktail dresses 2014 http://www.dressv.com/cocktail-dresses-2014-c103450/ that you can wear to your Graduation Ball. One way for you to look blue and gold is to choose the right fit and style for your body type, match it with comfortable shoes, add a sparkle in terms of jewelry, fix your hair and put on a pout and you can enjoy your Ball.

My Zalora Wishlist

This is so exciting!

If Zalora were a genie and I were the one who rubbed the lamp, Zalora will be granting five items from the wishlist to a very lucky blogger.

So let's say for example, the items were listed on a wishlist from Zalora, which ones would it be?

This is a twisted cropped cardi in black, and would be a great fashion staple in every girl's closet, not to mention the color can easily be matched with any plain or print top or dress. With full sleeves, it could keep my arms warm especially in the office where there's next to zero degrees temperature.

This Reena striped print is great for a summer dress, and the style is appropriate for any beach party this season. Match this with any wedge or flats, you're on your way. (See, she's very happy with the very summer-y pastel colors!)

Keep it neutral with this braided strapped Carina wedge and add some inches. I'll be sure to be walking tall and proud in this pair! It's one great style all year round, and surely my feet will be rested even when strolling down the boulevard in these. This is simply a classic! (Dear Zalora genie, I'm a size five by the way...)

This top is just the right material, and it's no-fuss wear by the looks of it. Need to go to the mall for a sec? No problem. Want to take in some fresh air at the park? No problem. Going to the beach with friends? No problem. Running late for work? No problem. Put on this Kiara Ext Top and add some nifty, kitschy cute accessories and head on out that door!

Of course, where would a working-girl, barkada-loving, blogger, writer, everyday commuter be without a trusted bag? It's the magic carpet of all essentials, so while Zalora is being generous, it's great to add in this Shoulder Tote Bag as a plus. It's extremely useful for those mountain hikes, beach visits, camp fires and lazy weekends. It's quite fun to be ultra-fashionable with this too.
